Meet The Fortune 500’s Top Female CEOs
For decades there has been debate about the great Male / Female pay divide and more lately, scrutiny into the lack of representation of women in the boardroom – particularly in larger, more public organisations.
Whilst only 7.4% of the Fortune 500 is made up of Female CEOs, this is 1.4% up on 2018 – showing growth of almost 30%.
Admittedly a very US orientated study, we’ve taken the liberty of sharing with you the full names and bio’s of the top female Fortune 500 CEOs.
As you can see from the list below, there are 38 female CEOs in the Fortune 500, making up rankings 18 through to 493. 5 of the Women lead companies in the top 50, 9 of them in the top 100.
Fortune 500 companies led by female CEOs include: General Motors, Citigroup, Best Buy and Oracle.
