We are seeking a strategic, hands-on Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our global technology organization and drive the next phase of technology-enabled growth across the business. This role is based in Las Vegas and will play a critical leadership role in transforming technology into a competitive advantage across our operations in the United States, United Kingdom, Ireland, and future markets.
The Opportunity
This is not a traditional executive technology position.
We are looking for an operator who can move seamlessly between the boardroom, active project sites, branch locations, and warehouses. You will be expected to shape technology strategy, lead execution, develop talent, improve business processes through automation and AI, and ensure our technology ecosystem delivers measurable business results.

You will lead all aspects of technology including enterprise applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, software development, data and analytics, integrations, AI, automation, end-user support, and strategic technology partnerships.
What You’ll Do
Drive Business Value Through Technology
- Translate business objectives into technology priorities, roadmaps, and investments.
- Deliver scalable, secure, and reliable technology solutions that support rapid growth.
- Connect technology investments to measurable outcomes including productivity, profitability, asset utilization, labor efficiency, operating margin, and customer experience.
- Build a high-performance organization focused on delivering business results.
Lead and Develop a Global Technology Organization
- Provide leadership across applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, development, integrations, analytics, and support functions.
- Develop strong leaders and create clear accountability throughout the organization.
- Build a culture of ownership, urgency, transparency, customer service, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure technology teams understand the operational challenges they are solving.
Modernize Through Automation and AI
- Drive workflow automation and AI initiatives that eliminate manual work and improve efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to simplify operations and reduce administrative burden.
- Transform AI opportunities into practical, adopted solutions that create measurable business impact.
- Partner closely with operational leaders to understand real-world workflows before designing solutions.
Strengthen Enterprise Platforms and Data
- Oversee technology supporting ERP, CRM, operational platforms, iSeeWhere, and other core systems.
- Improve system integration, usability, reliability, and scalability.
- Enhance data quality and accessibility to support informed business decisions.
- Ensure technology supports business growth while maintaining operational simplicity.
Lead Technology Architecture and Innovation
- Guide software development, architecture, integrations, and automation strategies.
- Make sound build-versus-buy decisions.
- Establish practical development and architecture standards.
- Provide technical leadership while empowering teams to execute.
Ensure Security, Reliability, and Resilience
- Maintain executive accountability for cybersecurity, infrastructure, business continuity, and disaster recovery.
- Lead technology risk management with a business-enablement mindset.
- Manage strategic technology partners and vendors through performance, service quality, and outcomes.
- Ensure CES Power’s technology environment is prepared to support continued global growth.

What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8-12+ years of progressive technology leadership experience.
- Proven leadership across multiple technology disciplines including enterprise applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, software development, analytics, integrations, and support.
- Experience operating in high-growth environments where execution and adaptability are essential.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, enterprise architecture, modern software development, cybersecurity, and data ecosystems.
- Demonstrated success partnering directly with business leaders to improve operational performance through technology.
- Experience managing technology budgets, vendors, and strategic investments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting field-based or operational workforces.
- Experience in private-equity-backed organizations.
- Experience leading software development, AI, automation, integrations, and data initiatives.
- M&A integration and acquisition experience is a plus.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in technology, engineering, computer science, business, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Approximately 8–12 or more years of progressive technology experience, including meaningful leadership responsibility across multiple technology disciplines.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams and leaders responsible for several of the following: enterprise applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data and analytics, software development, integrations, and end-user technology.
- Demonstrated success operating in a high-growth, fast-moving environment where priorities change quickly and leaders are expected to execute with urgency.
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, cloud and SaaS environments, integration, data, security, and modern software development.
- Demonstrated ability to partner directly with business leaders and translate operational requirements into technology outcomes.
- Experience managing significant technology vendors, budgets, and investment decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to improve business outcomes through technology rather than simply implementing systems.
- Prior CTO experience is not required; this role is appropriate for an accomplished VP, Head of Technology, senior technology leader, or similar executive ready to assume enterprise-wide technology accountability.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting distributed, field-based, or operational workforces.
- Experience in a private-equity-backed business or a similarly demanding high-growth operating environment.
- Experience leading software development, integration, automation, data, or AI capabilities in addition to traditional enterprise technology functions.
- Acquisition and technology integration experience is beneficial but not required
