A long-standing client of is creating a new, separately funded business venture to address an underserved opportunity within the European energy market.
They are looking for an entrepreneurial Chief Sales Officer to join the founding leadership team and build the commercial function from the ground up.
The role will involve:
- Creating and executing the sales and go-to-market strategy
- Winning complex enterprise SaaS / technology customers
- Developing relationships with utilities, network operators and major industrial energy businesses
- Personally leading strategic deals before building the wider sales team
- Working alongside an experienced founding team to shape the growth of the company
What they require:
- A proven enterprise SaaS / technology sales leader
- Experienced selling into utilities, TSOs, DSOs, energy networks or major industrial customers
- Commercially astute with a demonstrable ability to personally close complex, long-cycle deals
- Well-networked within the European energy market and capable of opening senior-level conversations
- Experienced in energy software, grid technology, digital energy or adjacent infrastructure markets
- Entrepreneurial and comfortable building rather than inheriting
