Key Responsibilities
- Operations Management: Oversee all Markets including project managers and design staff to ensure ontime and profitable project delivery.
- Strategic Planning: Partner with the CEO to set company goals, improve operational efficiency, and expand service lines or regional offices.
- Financial Oversight: Manage operating budgets, track key performance indicators (KPIs), improve profit margins, and review project billing and collections.
- Resource Allocation: Balance staffing workloads across all Markets.
- Process Improvement: Standardize project management and quality control procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, business administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or PE license is a strong plus).
- Experience: 20+ years of progressive leadership experience in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry, with at least 5 years in an executive role.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of civil engineering project lifecycles, various contract types and how to be successful in the industry.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to mentor staff, resolve operational bottlenecks, and foster a collaborative company culture.
