1ST Gateway Credit Union is hiring a Chief Financial Officer. You will lead accounting and finance for a $170 million community financial institution, report directly to the CEO, and sit on the Executive Team.

Responsibilities
- Lead all accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Prepare and file required regulatory reports accurately and on time.
- Own general ledger integrity and account reconciliation, and investigate and resolve discrepancies.
- Oversee accounting performed across departments and validate that it is accurate and complete.
- Manage liquidity, capital, investments, and interest rate risk.
- Present financial results to the Board of Directors.
- Work directly with external auditors and regulators.
Requirements
- Banking or credit union experience is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years in accounting or finance at a bank or credit union.
- Experience with regulatory reporting for a financial institution.
- CPA is a plus, not a requirement.
- Must be bondable.
Compensation and benefits
- Salary commensurate with experience.
- 401(k) with a 7% credit union contribution. Not a match. The credit union contributes 7% of wages, and you can defer on top of that.
- Annual bonus opportunity of up to 4% of wages.
- An additional performance-based bonus for this role, tied to credit union results.
