Role Overview
The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) is responsible for developing and executing the organisation’s revenue growth strategy across sales, customer success, partnerships, marketing alignment, and commercial operations. Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the executive leadership team, the CRO will drive sustainable revenue performance, optimise customer acquisition and retention, and align all revenue-generating functions to support long-term business growth.

Key Responsibilities
Revenue Strategy & Growth
- Develop and implement the organisation’s overall revenue growth strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Drive sustainable revenue growth across new business, existing customers, partnerships, and expansion opportunities.
- Identify market opportunities, revenue streams, and commercial growth initiatives.
- Align revenue operations with organisational strategy and long-term objectives.
Sales Leadership
- Lead and optimise the sales organisation to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Develop scalable sales processes, forecasting models, and pipeline management frameworks.
- Establish performance metrics, KPIs, and reporting structures for sales teams.
- Support strategic deal negotiations and enterprise customer engagement.
Customer Success & Retention
- Oversee customer success and retention strategies to maximise customer lifetime value.
- Improve customer onboarding, engagement, renewals, and expansion opportunities.
- Develop customer-centric initiatives to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
- Reduce churn and strengthen long-term customer relationships.
Revenue Operations & Performance Management
- Build and optimise revenue operations, systems, and performance reporting capabilities.
- Improve alignment between sales, marketing, customer success, and product teams.
- Use data analytics and insights to drive forecasting accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Monitor revenue performance and implement corrective actions where required.
Partnerships & Business Development
- Develop strategic partnerships, alliances, and channel opportunities to support growth.
- Lead business development initiatives and market expansion efforts.
- Evaluate commercial opportunities, pricing strategies, and partnership models.
- Support mergers, acquisitions, and strategic growth initiatives where applicable.
Leadership & Team Development

Financial & Commercial Collaboration

Stakeholder Engagement

Candidate Profile
Experience
- Proven experience as a Chief Revenue Officer, Chief Commercial Officer, VP Sales, Sales Director, or senior revenue leadership executive.
- Strong track record of delivering scalable revenue growth and commercial success.
- Experience leading sales, customer success, revenue operations, or commercial functions.
- Demonstrated success in high-growth, scaling, or transformation environments.
