Role Overview
The Chief Information Officer (CIO) is responsible for overseeing the organisation’s information technology strategy, systems infrastructure, data governance, cybersecurity, and digital transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities

- Lead IT service delivery and support operations across the organisation.
- Manage relationships with technology vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
Digital Transformation

- Drive automation, systems integration, and process optimisation programmes.
- Support the implementation of enterprise applications, platforms, and business technologies.
- Promote innovation and adoption of emerging technologies where appropriate.
Cybersecurity & Information Governance
- Develop and maintain robust cybersecurity policies, controls, and incident response frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with data protection, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee information governance, data management, and IT risk mitigation.
- Promote security awareness and best practices across the organisation.
Data & Analytics
- Support enterprise data strategy, governance, and reporting capabilities.

- Promote data quality, accessibility, and security across systems and platforms.

Leadership & Team Development
- Build, lead, and develop high-performing IT and information systems teams.

Financial & Commercial Management

Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with internal business leaders to understand operational and strategic technology needs.

Candidate Profile
Experience
- Proven experience as a CIO, IT Director, VP Information Technology, or senior technology executive.
- Strong track record leading enterprise IT operations and digital transformation initiatives.
- Experience overseeing complex technology environments and enterprise systems.
- Demonstrated success aligning technology strategy with business objectives.
