Role Overview
The Chief Data Officer (CDO) is responsible for developing and executing the organisation’s enterprise-wide data strategy to maximise the value of data as a strategic business asset. Key Responsibilities
Data Strategy & Leadership

- Advise executive leadership and the Board on data-related opportunities, risks, and capabilities.
Data Governance & Compliance
- Develop and oversee enterprise data governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy, protection, and regulatory requirements.
- Promote data quality, integrity, accessibility, and security across the organisation.

Analytics & Business Intelligence
- Lead enterprise analytics, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives.

Stakeholder Engagement

Candidate Profile
Experience
- Proven experience as a Chief Data Officer, Head of Data, VP Data & Analytics, or senior data leadership executive.
- Strong track record developing and implementing enterprise data strategies.
- Experience leading data governance, analytics, business intelligence, and data transformation initiatives.
- Demonstrated success driving data-driven decision-making and organisational change.
- Experience within [industry/sector] advantageous.
