Chief of Staff Full Time

At Series Entertainment, we’re seeking a highly skilled, driven, hard-working Chief of Staff, Operations to support the Chief Operating Officer. As the Chief of Staff, Operations, you will act as an extension of the COO, ensuring seamless coordination and execution across all aspects of studio operations. This role will require you to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously with a strategic and analytical mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive operational excellence by implementing policies and procedures that enhance productivity and streamline processes across the organization
• Act as a key liaison between the Chief Operating Officer and other departments, facilitating effective communication and ensuring transparency across the organization
• Collaborate with the Chief Operating Officer and executive team to develop and execute strategic initiatives that align with the company’s vision and goals
• Help oversee contract administration, procurement, fixed asset management, human resources compliance, records keeping, facilities management and travel/logistics
• Monitor, report, and track progress of organizational goals and OKRs
• Analyze operational data to provide insights and recommendations for decision-making
• Prepare reports and presentations for the leadership team, the Board of Directors, and others
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations in all operational aspects

Qualifications:

• MBA from a recognized institution, ideally in Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2 to 4 years of experience post-MBA in a strategic or operational role, preferably in a startup or high-growth environment
• Experience with improving operational efficiencies and driving organizational change
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the proven ability to plan effectively, set priorities, meet deadlines, and make decisions while paying attention to detail and quality
• Ability to deal with difficult, often ambiguous, and challenging situations and creatively solve problems
• Entrepreneurial and prudent risk-taker who considers out-of-the-box solutions, is willing to question traditional ways of operating, and suggests well-thought-out, articulated solutions
• Ability to work independently while making informed judgment calls under pressure
