Position Summary
Under the general direction of the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) serves as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team and is responsible for the overall financial stewardship, strategic financial planning, and long-term fiscal sustainability of Mt. Graham Regional Medical Center (MGRMC). The CFO leads the organization’s financial operations, revenue cycle, reimbursement strategy, budgeting processes, capital planning, and growth initiatives while supporting the hospital’s mission to provide high-quality healthcare services to the rural communities it serves.
The CFO develops and implements strategies to maximize revenue, control operational costs, optimize reimbursement, and ensure compliance with all applicable financial, regulatory, and reporting requirements. The position provides executive oversight for designated departments and serves as the primary financial advisor to the CEO, Board of Directors, Administrative Council, and hospital leadership team.
This position requires an experienced healthcare finance executive with a thorough understanding of Critical Access Hospital reimbursement methodologies, rural healthcare operations, strategic planning, board governance, and organizational growth opportunities.
