The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Chief Financial Officer is a key executive leadership role responsible for driving Council’s long-term financial sustainability, corporate governance, strategic financial planning, budgeting, statutory reporting, investment management, and organisational performance. Leading a skilled finance team, you will provide trusted advice to Council and the Executive, influencing decisions that shape the future of the Uralla community.
About You
You are an experienced and values-driven finance executive with strong expertise in strategic financial planning, governance, accounting, and leadership. You bring exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, a proven ability to lead high-performing teams, and the commercial acumen to deliver sustainable outcomes. CPA, CA, MBA or similar professional qualifications, together with local government experience, will be highly regarded.
