Position Summary
We are a leading commercial roofing company seeking a strategic and hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team. As CFO, you will oversee all financial operations, drive growth strategies, and ensure strong fiscal health. This is a key leadership role in a fast-paced construction environment where you’ll partner with operations and project teams to guide financial decisions that impact the entire organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial strategy, budgeting, and forecasting to support profitable growth.
- Oversee all accounting and reporting in compliance with GAAP and industry standards.
- Manage banking, bonding, insurance, and credit relationships
- Support operations with job costing, WIP (Work in Progress) reporting, and margin analysis.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks while ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing accounting team.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 10+ years of senior financial leadership in construction, roofing, or a related industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction accounting, percentage-of-completion revenue recognition, and cash-flow management.
- Proven experience managing financial relationships with banks, sureties, and insurers.
- Excellent leadership, strategic planning, and communication skills.
