We seek a Dynamic, self-motivated Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) who thrives in a fast-paced environment and supports our mission.
The CAO is an active, contributing member of the Executive Leadership Team. The CAO plans, directs, manages, and oversees the activities of the following departments:
The CAO leads or participates in strategic planning, goal setting, and project management in support of Hospice of San Joaquin (HSJ). The CAO is responsible for creating and sustaining Hospice of San Joaquin as a results-oriented organization through expertise in organizational effectiveness, performance, measurement, and budget accountability. The position serves in an advisory capacity on all matters related to the department’s operations, taking initiative to develop administrative policy as required. Works closely with senior leadership to facilitate effective decision-making and processes. Functions as project manager for agency projects and implementations.
Educate the community on the benefits of hospice care for patients at the end of life and ensure access to hospice care for all those who need it. Will provide education at hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, residential care facilities, community events, and more as needed.
