How will you make an impact in this role?
The Global Brand Sponsorships and Experiential Marketing team leads 40+ partnerships globally, delivering best-in-class ticket access, live event and digital engagement platforms across Card Member and Prospect passion points of sports, music, theater and various other cultural interests. This role sits within the Global Advertising and Brand Management division, which is responsible for driving demand for American Express products and services by getting our world-class brand into the marketplace.
Your Position:
This role will be responsible for driving the strategic vision of American Express’ role in Music, Entertainment and Innovation verticals specifically tied to musical artists, touring events, festivals, cultural tastemakers and defining our opportunities with emerging tech platforms across the sponsorship portfolio. The ideal candidate has a passion for creating differentiated engagements and is excited by the opportunity to redefine what experiential marketing looks like for these industries and beyond. Additionally, this candidate will possess expertise on how American Express can navigate and leverage emerging platforms and new technology to innovate experiences across the entire Sponsorships and Experiential Marketing. This role requires travel to execute onsite programs and nurture industry partnerships (~20%).

Salary Range: $185,000.00 to $260,000.00 annually + bonus + equity (if applicable) + benefits
