In 2020, the health system rebranded itself as Stoughton Health (from Stoughton Hospital) to better reflect the organization. Over the past several years, Stoughton has experienced incredible growth and an increased focus on wellness and keeping the community healthy. In addition to Stoughton Hospital, the system now has several locations to meet the community’s healthcare and wellness needs. Services include three urgent care clinics, two rehabilitation and sports medicine clinics, two orthopedic specialty clinics (OrthoTeam), a community health and wellness center, and more.
Stoughton Health continues to be an independent community healthcare organization owned and operated by the Stoughton Hospital Association, while also being an affiliate of SSM Health in Wisconsin.

Stoughton Health employs over 300 people and has net revenues of approximately $67 million. The hospital is governed by a 13-member community Board of Trustees.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) leads all aspects of Stoughton Health through comprehensive healthcare financial acumen. The CEO is fully responsible for the overall planning and directing of the activities to maximize the affiliation with SSMHC; the mission, long-range plan and policies of Stoughton Health; as well as the health needs of its patients and the communities it serves. The CEO is directly and solely accountable to the Board of Trustees in the performance of duties in a manner that is commensurate with the responsibilities and authorities conferred upon him or her by the Board. The CEO is the representative of the Board in the general leadership and management of the Hospital.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / SKILLS
Successful candidates will possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare, with at least 5 of these years in a management position, with a proven track record of success in leading operations for an acute care hospital. In addition, the CEO will possess the following skills and traits:
