WHAT YOU WILL DO:
As the Deputy Chief Information Officer (DCIO), you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement, management, development, operations, and continual improvement of all business solutions provided to the Employment Department by the ITS section. You will provide oversight for the implementation of technologies for this agency in alignment with the CIO’s vision and direction. In addition, you will have primary responsibility for the Operations strategy and direction for the IT portfolio of services. The DCIO also serves as second-in-command to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and participates in executive-level decisions and development of policies, priorities, plans and budgets to achieve the objectives of the Agency. The position’s job duties require you to have a similar level of expertise to the CIO, as the Deputy must fill in for the CIO regularly. In this role, you will also:
