Ascension Saint Thomas Hospital Midtown in Nashville, Tennessee, provides 24/7 comprehensive healthcare services, including emergency care for life-threatening injuries and illnesses. Our dedicated care teams prioritize listening to your health needs, ensuring personalized care that’s right for you. We provide specialty services, such as heart and vascular care, orthopedics, cancer care, maternal-fetal medicine, and breast health.
Our campus includes a state-of-the-art Surgery and Critical Care Tower, Ascension Saint Thomas Rehabilitation Hospital, and modernized facilities, demonstrating our commitment to innovation and excellence. We have expanded services such as a new entrance for the Women’s Hospital, a Medical Office Building, and enhanced programs like our Birthing Center, which provides personalized birthing experiences and advanced neonatal care. We provide a wide range of minimally invasive procedures, imaging, lab tests, and rehabilitation services, all conveniently located on one campus.
What You Will Do:
Lead the development and implementation of operational strategies to align with the mission, vision and values of the organization.
- Formulate policies and strategic plans for future growth.
- Plan, direct and coordinate overall daily operations.
- Responsible for building relationships to establish partnerships and affiliations.
- Direct operational efficiency and improvement to meet financial targets and collaborates to establish control systems for accountability.
- Collaborate to plan and organize staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, and educating in support of operational objectives.
What You Will Need:
Education:
- Associate’s degree/Bachelor’s degree with 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 4 of those years being in leadership/management.
Additional Preferences:
- Masters Degree preferred
- Prior experience leading operational functions in a 500+ bed hospital
- Skilled at physician relationship building
- Proven ability and success growing clinical service lines
