Responsibilities

- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies
Tasks:
- Conduct research and analysis on market trends and customer needs
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of innovation projects and initiatives
- Lead brainstorming sessions and ideation workshops to generate new ideas
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to pilot and test new concepts
- Evaluate the feasibility and potential impact of new innovations
- Prepare business cases and proposals for new projects
- Monitor and track the progress of innovation projects and initiatives
- Communicate updates and results to stakeholders and senior management
- Drive a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the innovation team
- Attend industry conferences and events to stay informed about the latest trends and developments
Success Metrics
- Number of new products or services launched
- Rate of adoption of innovation within the organization
- Positive feedback from customers or clients on innovative solutions
- Increased revenue or market share attributed to innovation efforts
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- 20+ years experience as innovation manager or researcher
- Knowledge of lean startup methodology
- Experience in moving technology projects from conception to commercialization
- Knowledge of product development process
- Experience managing cross-functional teams
- Strong leadership
