This position is critical to the planning, coordination, and oversight of all operational activities within the Information Technology (IT) department. It also provides leadership and support for IT solutions that strengthen mission-critical business operations. Key responsibilities include ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of technology services, managing IT projects, overseeing administrative tasks, and monitoring timelines and performance.
The Chief Information Officer (CIO) is also responsible for maintaining clear communication between technology vendors and management, including vendor contract management and collaboration with the CFO to negotiate pricing and contractual terms. Success in this role requires exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail, effective communication and a comprehensive understanding of both IT and administrative processes.
