Under the general direction of the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Financial Officer is responsible for setting goals and objectives for the development, establishment, and coordination of quality comprehensive services. The Chief Financial Officer directs the activities of professionals and support personnel in accordance with standards of practice established by Ephraim McDowell Health, the government, and health care regulatory agencies. Responsible for the system’s Finance, Information Services, Materials Management, Health Information Management, Cooperative Care, Business Office, and Patient Access departments. Exhibits the F.I.R.S.T. values (Friendliness, Innovation, Respect, Service, and Trust).

Subject to many interruptions. Handles emergency or crisis situations. Moderate amounts in a stationary position. Moderate amount of time spent at the computer terminal. Must be able to move or position 25 lbs. independently.

EQUIPMENT USED/SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
Business related courses. Computer skills. Excellent written and oral skills.
Requirements:
Five plus (5+) years in a healthcare setting in Finance preferred.
Shift: 1st Shift
Compensation: $240,000 – $306,000 annually.
