Reporting to the CEO, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) provides strategic leadership and oversight of Wellmore’s financial and administrative operations. As a key member of the Leadership Team, the CFO partners closely with the CEO and organizational leaders to advance Wellmore’s mission and ensure financial health, operational excellence, and long-term sustainability. The CFO will have direct oversight of multiple operation areas such as (Finance, Human Resources, IT, HIM, Development, Marketing and Compliance/Quality/Accreditation and Facilities). The CFO will have a strong day-to-day financial and leadership presence and serve as a steward of Wellmore’s values, supporting high performance and positive staff morale.
This role requires a thoughtful, highly adaptable, and strategic leader with strong fiscal management experience. They will have a “roll-up-your-sleeves” attitude, approach difficult decision-making with care and intention, and have experience in designing and optimizing business and operations processes and systems. They will also have experience in managing teams through organizational growth and change and possess a deep understanding of motivating, mobilizing, and supporting staff, as well as evaluating systems and policies to increase effectiveness. The CFO will have strong analytical capabilities, including the ability to think critically and to propose and implement change successfully.
