Chief Financial Officer Full Time

CMA Executive is excited to be representing a new Finance Director position for an award-winning independent Property development and Construction organisation located in Hampshire. This company offers a great history of stable growth and continues to deliver on a sizeable level of projects in the Southern Region.

What will the Finance Director role involve?

• This role will provide financial and accounting leadership to the Group. Mentoring finance and accounting staff as well as other functional managers in best practice.
• You will also be required to provide direction and advice as finance head of the business, ensuring that the business strategy is clearly articulated in financial terms – providing clear input, creating forecasts, developing budgets and business plans. Supporting the broader business in analysing business performance to deliver Growth, Ebit and Cash targets.

Suitable Candidate for the Finance Director vacancy:

• Experience of having worked as a Finance Director within a factory/production/assembly or property development or construction Business is required.
• Accountancy qualification – ACA, CIMA preferred but will look at ACCA.
• Strong stakeholder management with the ability to influence Executive and Board level engagements.
• Experience establishing and maintaining Project cost accounting process – including project controls, gateways and spend authorities.
• Experience in ERP integration across business and including interfacing with financial accounting systems.
• Experience implementing a business wide IT approach (Systems, applications and processes) to satisfy development and operational sections of business with appropriate tools.
