The Opportunity

As the Group Chief Financial Officer at A-SAFE, you will serve as a strategic partner to the Co-CEOs and the executive team, providing leadership in financial strategy, planning, and management. This critical role is responsible for ensuring robust financial control, compliance, and reporting, while driving efficiency and performance across the organization. The CFO will oversee global financial operations, as well as Group Purchasing, ensuring alignment with business objectives and supporting A-Safe’s continued growth and innovation.

In this role, you will:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive financial strategy that supports the company’s short- and long-term objectives.
• Ensure rigorous financial control across all global subsidiaries, implementing and maintaining robust internal controls and procedures
• Establish a performance cadence across global subsidiaries, ensuring consistent reporting and accountability.
• Identify and implement process improvements, including championing the adoption of Robotic Process Automation and AI in financial operations to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
• Lead and develop the finance & purchasing team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring that team members are equipped with the skills, tools, and knowledge to drive continuous improvement and succeed.
• Support the Co-CEOs in evaluating and executing strategic initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, and new market entries.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Extensive experience as a CFO or senior financial leader within a global organization, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Proven track record of delivering financial control, compliance, and operational excellence.
• Strong understanding of international financial regulations, accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP), and tax laws.
• Experience in a global, matrixed organization with an ability to influence and collaborate across regions and departments.
• Strong experience with building tools, rules and processes
• Experience leading and developing high-performing finance teams across multiple geographies.
