Role:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Chief Financial Officer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to lead and develop a team of financial professionals and have a strategic influence on JJs.
The perfect candidate will lead the accounts’ function and interact with Senior Management and the Board of Directors. Based in the head office in Enfield the successful candidate will oversee the financial operations of the group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all day-to-day accounting activities for the group including the preparation of monthly management accounts including balance sheet, cash flow and overhead analysis.
- Analysing the company’s financial weaknesses and strength, whilst proposing corrective actions
- Maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare the annual budget and monthly forecast activities.
- Support in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Prepare VAT returns and assist with corporation tax computations and ensure compliance with HMRC and other government bodies.
- Review monthly payroll operations and ensure accurate and timely payments of pensions and taxes and handle annual completion of P11D
- Assist in audits and ensure compliance with company financial policies and relevant regulations.
- Respond to financial enquiries from employees and management.
Key Requirements:
- ACA., ACCA or qualified by experience
- Experience in a similar financial leadership role and competency in managing a comprehensive accounts function and excellent communication skills. (Minimum 10 years)
- Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting software
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- The accounting operation is based on Microsoft 365 and a knowledge of this would be useful.
