Mae gwaith Awdurdod Parc Cenedlaethol Eryri yn cwmpasu ystod eang o faterion yn Eryri, gan gynnwys gwella a gwarchod tirwedd unigryw, adfer natur, ymateb i newid hinsawdd, darparu cyfleon i fwynhau gwerthoedd arbennig Eryri a rheoli effeithiau ymwelwyr, ac maen nhw nawr yn chwilio am Brif Weithredwr newydd.

Mae Parc Cenedlaethol Eryri, sy’n gartref i dros 26,000 o drigolion ac yn denu bron i 4 miliwn o ymwelwyr unigryw y flwyddyn, yn enwog am ei harddwch naturiol syfrdanol, gan gynnwys copaon uchel, dyffrynnoedd tawel, arfordir eang a chyfleoedd hamdden helaeth.

Bydd y Prif Weithredwr newydd yn darparu arweinyddiaeth ysbrydoledig, cyfeiriad strategol, a chyngor arfer gorau i sicrhau bod swyddogaethau statudol yn cael eu cyflawni’n effeithiol o fewn fframwaith o bartneriaeth rhanddeiliaid, trylwyredd deddfwriaethol, rheoli perfformiad, a chraffu gwleidyddol. Fel Pennaeth y Gwasanaeth Cyflogedig, bydd y Prif Weithredwr yn sicrhau’r defnydd gorau posibl o adnoddau dynol ac ariannol i gyflawni nodau ac amcanion yr Awdurdod.

Bydd y cyfrifoldebau allweddol yn cynnwys gweithredu fel y prif gynghorydd polisi, a datblygu polisïau statudol a sefydliadol o ansawdd uchel sy’n cyd-fynd â phwrpasau yr Awdurdod a gofynion rhanddeiliaid.

Mae’r Awdurdod yn chwilio am arweinydd a fydd yn chwarae rhan hollbwysig wrth weithredu tri chynllun statudol sef y Cynllun Rheolaeth (Cynllun Eryri), y Cynllun Datblygu Lleol a’r Datganiad Llesiant sydd gyda’i gilydd yn amlinellu gweledigaeth a blaenoriaethau canolig a hirdymor yr Awdurdod. Mae’r cynlluniau hyn yn cael eu datblygu drwy ymgynghoriadau helaeth sydd yn pwysleisio cyfranogiad partneriaeth a chymunedol i gyflawni ein nodau strategol.

Eryri/ Snowdonia National Park Authority, whose work covers a wide range of issues in Eryri, including improving and protecting a unique landscape, restoring nature, responding to climate change, providing opportunities to enjoy the special values ​​of Eryri and managing the impact of visitors, is looking for a new Chief Executive.

Eryri National Park, which is home to over 26,000 residents and attracts almost 4 million unique visitors a year, is renowned for its stunning natural beauty, including high peaks, quiet valleys, a wide coastline and extensive recreational opportunities.

The new Chief Executive will provide inspirational leadership, strategic direction, and best practice advice to ensure that statutory functions are carried out effectively within a framework of stakeholder partnership, legislative rigour, performance management, and political scrutiny. As Head of the Paid Service, the Chief Executive will ensure the best possible use of human and financial resources to achieve the Authority’s aims and objectives.

The key responsibilities will include acting as the main policy advisor, and developing high quality statutory and organisational policies that align with the Authority’s purposes and stakeholder requirements.

The Authority is looking for a leader who will play a vital role in implementing three statutory plans, namely the Management Plan (Cynllun Eryri), the Local Development Plan and the Well-being Statement which together outline the medium- and long-term vision and priorities of the Authority. These plans are developed through extensive consultations which emphasise partnership and community participation to achieve our strategic goals.

Fluency in Welsh is an essential requirement for this role.
