Corserv Solutions Ltd is a unique organisation in that we deliver a wide range of services, all with one aim – to improve the lives of people in our wonderful county of Cornwall. We collaborate and innovate to give back to our communities and provide a return to Cornwall Council for essential public services.

We are one hundred percent owned by Cornwall Council our Shareholder.   We reflect that public sector ethos through our mission of “Working together to improve the lives of people in Cornwall”.  However, we are a set of commercial businesses who aim to produce profit that can be reinvested to deliver public services within Cornwall.  An especially important purpose given the challenges within Local Government Finance.

The Role

Our new Chief Executive Officer will be an inspiring leader and figurehead, accountable for the Company performance and entrusted to take Corserv Solutions Ltd into the next era. With a commercial skillset, you will ensure a resilient and sustainable business which creates a surplus profit that can be returned to Cornwall Council via a dividend and used internally to invest for further external growth. You will hold to account, motivate, and support the Divisional Directors of each division to meet their objectives and financial targets.

This will be a stimulating leadership role across multiple sectors with a social purpose behind it. You will develop and meet the business plan goals, create a unified commercial Company culture, and build commercial growth opportunities beyond Cornwall.

We are looking for an exceptional leader with proven experience in growing a company commercially and sustainably. You will have in-depth construction sector experience, particularly civil engineering, and a deep understanding of the factors that influence the Company in an operation of similar size and complexity.
