The new Chief Executive will play a vital role in shaping Thames Hospice of the future by providing vision and strategic direction in line with our core mission and values. Working closely with the Board of Trustees and the Executive Team, you will have responsibility for developing long-term sustainable strategies and overseeing effective systems of corporate and clinical governance.

We are looking for an individual with a successful leadership track record, who is highly strategic with the ability to think long-term and horizon scan. You will demonstrate high levels of personal credibility and act as an ambassador for the organisation, cultivating positive relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders and with key funders, helping to increase the profile and impact of the Hospice.
With an empowering and collegiate leadership approach, you will encourage ideas and embrace the insights and expertise of others. You will display the empathy and emotional intelligence required to build and develop a high-performing and motivated team. Critically, you will be an individual who can operate in a challenging healthcare environment and demonstrate passion and commitment to Thames Hospice’s values and mission.
