Chief Executive Officer Full Time

Job Summary:

The Chief Executive Officer in partnership with the Board of Directors is responsible for the success of Crossing Healthcare. The CEO is responsible for the overall operations, the application of Board approved policies, providing support to the Board of Directors and serving as a liaison between the Board and the center staff. Together, the Chief Executive Officer and the Board assure Crossing Healthcare’s relevance to the community, the accomplishment of Crossing Healthcare’s mission, and the accountability of Crossing Healthcare to its diverse constituents.

Education and Experience:

• A good knowledge of health care administration principles and practices, public health practices, finance and budgeting and primary health care
• Graduate of an accredited program in Health Services Administration, BusinessAdministration, Public Administration or another similar field.
• Minimum of five years of experience in a free standing primary ambulatory health facility, three of which should have been in a top-level management position or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must have good human resources skills, good written and oral skills; pleasant personality and promote favorable public relations
• Must have overall good management skills in understanding the planning, developing, organizing, directing, coordinating, controlling, and evaluating function in an Organization
• Must possess excellent professional interpersonal and communications skills combined with hands on approach to manage Crossing Healthcare
• Possesses the skills and implements the functions of a leader. She/he shares Crossing Healthcare values, mission and vision. She/he consistently displays integrity, model behavior, develops people and builds teams. This individual will deal effectively with demanding situations and designs and implements interventions
