The Candidate: The ideal CEO will be a proven transformational leader with a strong track record of executing financial and operational turnarounds in software companies. We are looking for a visionary and dynamic leader who is deeply committed to excellence and possess a relentless drive for success. This individual will respect and build upon the company’s legacy while strategically guiding it toward future growth and innovation. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in:

• 20+ years of progressive cross-functional business experience including, ideally, a minimum of 10 years in SaaS and five years in either data management or data analytics
• A growth driver who thrives on uncovering and optimizing new paths to hypergrowth, from high-level strategy to hands-on campaign tweaks
• A natural leader who inspires teams, simplifies complexity, and fosters rapid execution and learning
• Deep understanding of SaaS business models, revenue growth strategies and market dynamics
• Deep experience managing financial performance, budgets and having P&L responsibilities
• Strong background in technology and a demonstrated ability to drive innovation
• A track record of driving operational excellence at scale
• Comfortable with ambiguity and embracing a fail-fast/test-and-learn mindset to adapt to evolving markets
• Private Equity backed Portfolio Company Experience; Exit experience strongly preferred
• M&A Experience
• International management experience required
• French fluency is “nice to have” but not required

The Job:

As the CEO of this Company, you will lead the company’s next phase of growth, scaling its foundation into an enterprise-scale leader in data management. Your focus will be cultivating a high-performance culture, driving operational excellence, and executing an ambitious growth strategy with eventual exit.

You will own the company’s P&L, strategic planning, growth marketing, team development, product expansion, and board management.

This role demands a hands-on leader with strong business acumen, balancing operation execution with strategic vision. You will need to have a proven track record in leading SaaS companies, expertise in data management or data analytics and a strategic mindset to drive value for investors and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy Development and Execution:

• Own and be accountable for rapid growth and the business P&L.
• Collaborate with the executive team and the board to define the company’s long-term strategy, business goals, and growth objectives.
• Execute against the Value Creation Plan in conjunction with your executive team and the Operating Partners to expand market share and increase revenue streams.
• Drive growth marketing initiatives, including paid media, organic channels, affiliate partnerships, and retention strategies.
• Test, iterate, and scale new customer acquisition channels.
• Lead all post-merger integration to fulfill the investment thesis of any M&A activity

Financial Performance and Operational Excellence:

• Drive profitability and scale the business by identifying and capitalizing on new growth opportunities. Be hands-on as needed, bringing in resources at the right time.
• Implement efficient operational processes, scalability, and optimization to drive productivity and cost-effectiveness.

Team Leadership and Development:

• Lead, inspire, and motivate a diverse team of talented professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
• Attract top industry talent and mentor key executives to build a strong leadership pipeline.

Customer Engagement and Relationship Management:

• Cultivate strong relationships with key customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
• Work closely with the sales and customer success teams to drive customer adoption, retention, and upsell opportunities.

Technology and Innovation:

• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in the data management and data analytics space.
• Drive continuous innovation and product development, ensuring the company’s offerings remain at the forefront of the market.

Investor Relations:

• Collaborate with the board to provide regular updates on the company’s performance and growth prospects.
• Maintain a strong rapport with investors and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management:

• Ensure the company operates within all relevant legal and regulatory frameworks, including data privacy and risk standards.
• Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential threats and vulnerabilities.
