CEO for our 3 different shops in the United States (1 shop in Atlanta Georgie –College Park; 1 shop in California – Van Nuys; 1shop in Wisconsin – Milwaukee) , responsible for overseeing all aspects (around 260 employees) of a legal entity.
You report to the EVP Customer Support and Services
This position combines the responsibility of managing the day-to-day aspects of production while ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
One of your main goal is to: ensure overall internal management of operations
You lead and inspire a diverse team to achieve excellence in operational performance through Supply Chain, Program, Quality, manufacturing management, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
Your main missions are:
– Responsibility for Production and Operations:
You are responsible for overseeing production activities to ensure efficiency, quality, and profitability of operations. You ensure that production processes run smoothly, production targets are met, and delivery deadlines are respected.
Team and Human Resources Management:
You manage all personnel on-site. This includes recruitment, training, motivation, and performance management of teams, as well as managing relations with unions if necessary. You ensure the safety and health of employees by making sure that safety regulations are followed.
– Ensuring Quality and Compliance with Standards:
You are responsible for implementing and maintaining quality management systems. You ensure that the products repaired and or manufactured meet quality and compliance standards, whether they are internal, industry, or regulatory standards.
– Compliance with Regulations and Legal Obligations:
You ensure compliance with local, national, and international laws regarding health, safety, environment (HSE), and labor law. You ensure compliance with environmental standards, particularly regarding waste management, industrial emissions, and energy consumption.
– Risk and Safety Management:
You are responsible for implementing safety procedures to protect employees, facilities, and the environment. You manage industrial risks and plan responses in case of crises (fire, accidents, major breakdowns).
– Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
You seek ways to continuously improve industrial processes and maximize productivity. This involves implementing Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methods
– Local Strategic Planning:
While responding to strategic decisions made at the corporate level, you are responsible for implementing the local strategy adapted to the industrial site. You translate the company’s strategic objectives into specific operational goals for the site.
– Performance Management and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
You are responsible for all the site’s performance indicators, such as productivity, yield, quality, downtime rates, production costs, quality indicators, human resources, finance KPI’s, etc. You ensure rigorous monitoring of performance and implement corrective actions when targets are not met. You review and evaluate overall company performance on a continuing basis and establish adequate measure of performance
– Financial Management and Cost Optimization:
You manage the site’s budget, ensure cost optimization, and maintain the profitability of operations. This involves managing expenses, improving processes to reduce production costs, and monitoring the site’s financial performance. You analyze the site’s financial results and prepare financial reviews. You establish and maintain the budget and have P&L accountability for the business unit.
– Business:
You participate in global Sales and marketing initiatives, interfacing with Sales and Marketing corporate Department to fulfill strategic planning objectives and participate to identify new business opportunities
– Stakeholder Relations:
You maintain good relations with various stakeholders involved in managing the site, whether they are suppliers, customers, shareholders, or local authorities. You are responsible for representing the company to external stakeholders.
