Since 1993, Open Age has enhanced the lives of older people across west and northwest London. We provide educational courses, exercise classes, creative workshops and social events. These help our members maintain and improve their health and build new skills. They become part of our strong community of life-long learners.
We are now looking for a new CEO, who shares our passion for positive ageing, and can drive our organisation forward with vision and ambition. At our core, we are a customer-service organisation, and growing our face-to-face participation will always be a primary objective. However, Open Age is beginning its digital transformation to grow our customer base and welcome those unable to join us in person. We are looking for a strategic senior leader from the charity/not-for-profit sector, who brings an entrepreneurial mindset to help us grow. We need to diversify our income streams and grow our commercial opportunities by creating strong and long-lasting partnerships. Our new CRM system allows us to evidence the impact of our work. We need a CEO who can optimise our data collection to enhance what do and attract the resources we need to expand.
You will bring proven leadership experience, ideally from a service delivery background, and be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of governance, strategic planning, and financial management. You will be a strong leader and have a proven track record of developing and supporting your teams. You will be able to create new and build on existing key external relationships with partners, funders and other stakeholders. Above all, you will be a champion for Open Age, ensuring we are at the forefront of the positive later life movement, and share the same values, and passion that we do for our members.
